Islamic Relief ranks in top 80 of UK charities

The list was published by Charity Finance Magazine

Islamic Relief has once again featured in the top 100 charities in the UK, this time rising 15 places to number 78.
 
Despite the economic struggles faced in the UK, Islamic Relief and a number of top charities in the Charity 100 Index have seen their income continue to rise. This year, Islamic Relief’s total income in the UK reached £56.7m. 

Haroun Atallah, Head of Islamic Relief Worldwide’s Finance and Services said, "This is a great achievement for Islamic Relief and the charity sector as a whole, which has been successful despite the economic situation. We are so grateful that even during these hard times, people realise the importance of donating when emergencies strike."

The Charity 100 Index’s total income stands at an all-time high at £11.4 billion, growing £355.5 million since last year.
